Definitions
Custom orders: Orders contain one product or more can be customized as per customer request, for example “Engrave a name on a wallet”
Special orders: Orders contain one product or more need to be manufactured specifically for the customer, for example “Painting a Picture”
Food orders: Orders contain one product or more categorized as food prepared specifically for the customer, for example “Cupcakes”
Readymade product: Products are already manufactured and in stock ready to be delivered to customers.
For Custom orders, Special orders, and Food orders
Return and Cancellation
Custom or personalized orders, special orders and food orders CANNOT BE RETURNED, CANCELLED or REFUNDED once placed due to the custom and made to order processes involved.
As a rule, you shall not be able to cancel your order once you placed an order, For orders paid online, orders cannot be cancelled.
"Education City Market Place (market.educationcity.qa)" has the right to cancel orders. In such cases, a full refund will be done from to the payment method (e.g. your debit card or credit card) used to place the order for online payments. However, in the unlikely event of an item ordered is unavailable, we will contact you through the phone number provided to us at the time of placing the order and inform you of such unavailability. In such an event, you will be entitled to cancel the order and shall be entitled to a refund in accordance with our refund policy.
In case your order will be cancelled for the reasons below, we will contact you through email or call.
- In the event of the designated address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us.
- Failure to contact you by phone or email at the time of confirming the order booking.
- Failure to deliver your order due to lack of information, direction, or authorization from you at the time of delivery within 3 hours from order delivery status.
- Unavailability of all the items ordered by you at the time of booking the order
Refunds
You shall be entitled to a refund only if you pre-pay for your order at the time of placing your order on the Platform and only in the event of any of the following circumstances:
- Your order packaging has been tampered with or damaged at the time of delivery. *
- You cancel the order at the time of confirmation due to unavailability of the items you ordered at the time of booking.
Our decision on refunds shall be at our sole discretion and shall be final and binding.
All refund amounts shall be credited to your account within 11 to 14 business days in accordance with the terms that may be stipulated by the bank which has issued the credit / debit card.
Readymade products
Return and Cancellation
In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product to the seller within 7 calendar days of your purchase. The product must be in the same condition that you receive it with the original package and undamaged in any way. After confirmation by the seller, we will process your refund.
If the product is damaged in any way, or you have initiated the return after 7 calendar days have passed, you will not be eligible for a refund.
We reserve the sole right to cancel your order in the following circumstance:
- In the event of the designated address falls outside the delivery zone offered by us.
